SHAPE OF THE DAY
The New Teacher Orientation will be presented virtually.
This orientation is conducted every year for teachers who have gotten their first continuing or term contract.
This year there are two orientation dates to provide the opportunity for 25 teachers per session to attend (first-come-first-served).
(You will get paid for this full day orientation – even if it is a day you do not normally work)
This orientation is jointly organized by:
SD62 and the STA and includes the following:

Introduction to the School Board Office SD62 Leadership Team
Program and Services information on:
Curriculum and Programs
Aboriginal Education/Early Learning
Student Support Services
International Programs
School Heath & Social/Emotional Learning
Key information from:
Finance/Payroll
Information Technology (IT)
Human Resources (Atrieve, Benefits, OSH, Postings/Staffing)

RSVP DETAILS:
First-come, first-served: 25 registrants per session date (50 attendees in total):
On December 4th you will receive an email to let you know if you have secured a spot at one of our orientation dates and how to book your TTOC in Atrieve.
(If confirmed) You will be paid for the day and an TOC will cover your class/contract.
Please be sure to check your SD62 email on December 4th – (check both: ‘Focus’ and ‘Other’ inbox tabs).
We will keep a waitlist beyond 50 registrants.
